Today i've decided to share with you quite possibly my absolute lifesaver. Without this stuff, i think that my skin would be an absolute mess and to be honest, i'm not too sure if i could even live without it.
This product is for people with oily and blemished skin, so if you have dry skin then please just don't buy this and stop reading now :)
My HG product is.... *drumroll please*
Pan Oxyl aqua gel.

What it does
Pan Oxyl contains an ingredient called "Benzoyl Peroxide" which essentially dries out any moisture from the skin (which is why people with dry skin should never use it). It helps to eat up any moisture and oil that your face has produced, meaning that pores can't get clogged by oil and spots and impurities are less likely to occur.
How do you use it?
Pan Oxyl Aqua Gel comes in the form of a semi-opaque white gel which comes in a tube very similar to one toothpaste comes in. The instructions are to:
Apply the gel carefully once daily to the areas affected by acne. Washinng with soap and water prior to application enhances the efficiency of the preperation.
You should only apply a very thin layer daily to individual spots or areas you think need it. Such as all over your nose, on your chin and forehead or maybe along your jawline, where ever it is just make sure you don't put too much on! If you do, your skin will become all dry and flaky but the area will still try to produce more oil to counteract it, leaving your skin in one big flaky manky mess. Yeah, not nice. At all.
Other Information
As you have read above it can make your skin very dry if overused, so you might need to think about purchasing some thick moisurising creams as well. I find Nivia Creme and E45 very good :)
I usually apply this overnight. Even though it says that after it's dryed you can apply makeup over it i still wouldn't reccomend it, it gives your skin a really weird texture and foundation/concealer does not still well on top.
The cream comes in 3 strengths; 2.5, 5 and 10. I would not advise you to go any higher than the 5 unless you have been suscribed so by your doctor as it's for severe acne and can really damage your skin if it's not used properly. If you're buying this for the first time, and independantly i'd reccomend the 2.5 which is the one i have and it really does work amazingly!
How much and where from?
I'm sure you'll all be asking yourselves 'where can i buy this amazing product, and i'm sure it will cost loads.'
It's from the chemists and retails for around £3!
Amazing, right?!
You probably won't find it on the shelves, so make sure you ask for it behind the counter. I'm also not too sure on whether it's available in the USA, or if it's under a different name - sorry!

I've hoped you've all found this little review helpful and if you do go and buy this for yourselves please let me know how it goes!

I suffered quite a few skin problems when I was 14/15 and was told by the doc to use this (alongside pills). It helped loads! Although did stain my pillows a funny colour...xx

I used to use this also but have recently changed to a moisturiser containing retin-a which i feel works a little bit better :) plus it fights wrinkles soo! (retin-a does dry out your skin if you use to much tho)

I want to try this! Lately my skin has been bizarrely oily and spotty, which is not like it at all. Must remember to buy some this week!
