For christmas i was given the Soap and Glory 'The Big Thrill' set, from Dad and Jennie (i know you're reading this... so thankyou!!!)
[Here it is in all its Glory... haha, see what i did there ;) ]
It comes in a very cute hat-styled box and it also comes with a draw string bag. The box is so pretty i've used it to store my hair care products in! (another post coming on that soon!)
Inside you get 9 products, 4 of which are full sized and the others are travel sizes and they are all available separately in store so you can purchase them even if you don't have this set.
I'm going to review all of the products in 3 parts (3 products to a part!) and here are my first three.
Hand Food
I'll start with a classic, i already have the full sized version of this and i'm so glad i've got the smaller one as it's great to put in my handbag! I really can't say enough good words about this product, i've already done another review aaaages ago HERE, please read it and save me repeating myself! I'd buy this over and over again, the smell is gorgeous so if my words can't convince you then have a sniff in store and i guarantee it will be in your basket before ya'noe it!
RRP - £4.50
The Greatest Scrub of All Facial Exfoliator
I normally exfoliate twice or three times a week, and i am a big fan of really gritty scrubs. Ones like St. Ives where they have quite large 'beads' in them and i feel as though they are cleaning away all of the dirt from my skin.
Unfortunately, it didn't provide me with my normal expectations. The smell is okay, not my favorite scent but then again i don't dislike it either. It's got quite a minty fragrance to it and it smells a lot like Scrub Your Nose in It (review HERE) It does leave skin really soft though, after using it i can't stop stroking my cheeks haha! It has a fairly thin consistency and the beads are quite small, but they do pop open (which i, sadly, find quite exciting - i'm easily amused lol!)
In saying that, this product would be perfect for those of you who have sensitive skin and don't like harsh scrubs or even if you'd just like to give your skin a break!
RRP- £8.00
iFoam Ultra Creamy Body Wash
I really really really like using this! It's part of Soap and Glorys Spa range and smells UH-MAZ-ING! The smell lingers in the bathroom after you've used it, which is always good! It's very fruity and a bit citrusy (hence the orange and grapefruit oil?) and it lathers really nicely - especially when you use one of those puffy things (i can't think of the right word for them, somebody please enlighten me!)
I wouldn't say it could replace your moisturizer completely, as it suggests, but it is definitely more moisturizing than most normal body washes. I'd say it's a really good dependable product to have, well done Soap and Glory, yet another great product to add to your loooong list!
RRP - £4.50
(great value for 200ml!)
So, that's all for Part One folks, stay tuned!
If you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask, i will always reply.
Any other products from Soap and Glory i should check out?
