On a Friday i pick up my little town's local newspaper and inside is a long list of people's houses where they are holding garage sales. It's basically like a boot fair but you just drive around to everyone's houses, the people stand in their garage and sell all of their unwanted things (normally vintage and retro goodies) for dirt cheap prices.
Here are some of my favorite little bits and pieces i've picked up over the past 3 weeks or so.

Cotton On Tortoise Shell Ray-Ban styled sunnies - $2

Necklaces - $2 each
I love how gaudy and in-your-face these necklaces are, perfect statement jewellery.
Antique handheld mirror - $4
Perfect for a closer look when applying eye makeup - and it's pretty! :)
Beautiful Avon antique perfume from 1970's, not too sure about the smell of the perfume itself but it's packaging is gorgeous!

I didn't know people did garage sales in the UK, I usually go to car boot sales and find some wonderful items.
